Setting Up Incoming Call Handling
Call handling is how you manage your incoming phone calls. This article will walk through changing the ring options for incoming calls. Specifically, addressing using the Desktop App and Mobile App as primary devices. (It should be noted that the Desktop App and Mobile App are treated as the same ring target.)
Making Changes in the Desktop App
1. Launch the RingCentral Desktop App
2. In the left navigation bar select Settings, then Phone.
3. Select Call rules and voicemail.

4. Select Incoming calls.

5. In the Ring settings section you set your ring preference. By default there will be two options; a desk phone and desktop and mobile apps.
***By moving the slider to the left it will turn off that option and the phone will no longer ring at the target. For example, if you want your calls to only come to the Desktop and mobile apps, move the slider for the phone to the left.***
6. For more granular ring options click the Ring in order option.
7. Use the How do you want your devices to ring? option to have the targets Ring in order or Ring all together. Ring all together rings all targets at the same time.
a. If devices are set to ring all together, the ring duration for each target must be set and each target can ring for different durations.
b. If devices are set to ring in order use the Ring order and duration to drag the targets into the correct ring order and set each targets ring duration.
