Forward Phone to External Assignment (Cell Phone) in Mitel Connect
Forward your Desk phone to your Cell phone:
1. Set External Assignment a. From you connect client click on your User Name b. Select External Assignment and put in your phone number Calls will now ring to your cell phone. Nothing will ring your desk c. To turn off – go to same location and click Desk Phone
2. Set Additional Phones to Simultaneously Ring
a. From your connect client click on your User Name
b. Click on the Settings icon
c. Click on Call Routing
d. Click Change next to “No other phones will Simul ring”
e. Check the box to allow Simul Ring and enter your cell phone number
f. Click Save Calls will now ring both your desk phone and your cell phone
You will see a AddOn/AddOff softkey on your desk phone. This allows you to toggle the setting on or off. ii. You will see a Move softkey on your desk phone. You can move an active call between both phones.
3. Set Availability State to forward
a. From your connect client click on your User Name
b. Click on the Settings icon
c. Click on Call Routing
d. Select which availability state from the drop down at the top
e. Click Change next to “__ incoming calls are routed to ___”
f. Set it to Always and select the drop down to enter your cell phone #
g. Hit Enter, then Save
h. Put your phone in that Availability State Calls will now ring your cell phone. If you don’t answer calls will end in your cell phone voicemail.
